This tour accompanies the rally for the full distance from start to final. Get to know the Dakar Rally on a Buggy (Side by Side) tour. 

Our Dakar adventure is not limited to motorcyclists!

Get up close with the racers in the paddock before the start, participate in the briefing on the rest day in Riyadh, watch the racers at the prologue and during the stages on spectator points and be close up with the racers at the stage start. Participate in the final award giving ceremony on the final race day.

You'll travel through the stunning Saudi Arabian countryside on a Buggy adventure tour, meeting the Dakar Rally. A complete off-road adventure with overnight stays in desert camps.

Visits to the Dakar Bivouac

The Dakar allows accredited individuals access to selected bivouacs as part of a guided VIP tour. Ride Xpower tour participants are automatically accredited and can buy tickets.

The day ticket costs approximately €300 and can be ordered through Ride Xpower. Admission is limited and should be booked well in advance.

For detailed information and availability, please contact us before the start of the tour; experience has shown that the organizers post ticket information very late close to the Dakar start in December.

You fly to Yanbu airport, from where you take a taxi to the meeting point from where we pick you up for transfer to the desert camp (no transfer to the meeting point included). Welcome by the tour manager, briefing on the tour and collection of the rental buggy. Overnight in the desert camp. The evening is at leisure. Breakfast and lunch snacks, dinner, drinks and water are provided in the camp.

On Day 4 day we shuttle you early in the morning to Al-Ula where we catch up the Rally at the offroad final.

The Dakar Rally has left and we are trying to catch up with it over the next four off-road days on routes similar to the rally route. Since the Dakar only announces the route the evening before the next stage, we have to choose our route taking into account the off-road starts and finishes to meet it. On these days we concentrate on off-road driving in the breathtaking landscape of Saudi Arabia and meet the Dakar again in the paddock in Riyadh on the rest day at the latest. It is impossible to follow the stages with 600 to 900 km per day on a tour. Overnight stay in desert camps. Breakfast, lunch snacks, dinner, drinks and water are provided at the camps.

Rest day of the Dakar Rally in Riyadh. Visit of the paddock where we meet the racers and their teams who are preparing the bikes and cars for the second part of the rally. Overnight in a hotel. The evening is at leisure. Dinner not included.

Shuttle in the early morning of Day 11 to the Empty Quarter where we will start our offroad tour catching the Dakar at spectator points or at the timed stage final.

Since the Dakar only announces the route the evening before the next stage, we have to choose our route taking into account the off-road starts and finishes to meet it. The Dakar makes on this final day a loop round Yanbu.

Leaving Saudi Arabia from Yanbu airport. You take a taxi on your own for the short trip to the airport at your desired time.
