 The Balaton Raid is a perfect raid for light Enduro Bikes. We ride on routes through the beautiful, soft hilly landscape around Lake Balaton. We spend the nights in typical hotels and guest houses and pass castles that are well-known across the country's borders. A highlight is the trip with the ferry boat to the south shore of the lake on stage 3.

The daily stages are between 100 and 140 km long. The level of difficulty is tailored to beautiful and relaxed enduro riding through the hills of the Hungarian Lake Balaton region. The tour is structured in such a way that we don't start too early in the morning and reach the midday point after about 3 hours and then the hotel in another three hours. We have enough time for lunch and a cozy get-together in the hotel in the evening to enjoy the tour.

We lead the tour in different groups according to riding ability levels.

Our general terms and conditions apply. This tour requires a 50% deposit and the rest is due 90 days before the tour starts.  

You fly to Vienna airport, from where we take a rental car 1,5 hours drive to the hotel. Welcome by the tour manager, briefing on the tour and collection of the rental bikes. Evening free.

 On the first day of riding, we start from the hotel  direction to Lake Balaton, stop at the castle of Szomloi and will overnight in the well know city of Vezprem which we reach after a long and varied ride. On this day we cover over 150 km of top riding performance.. Evening free.

The third day takes us on a fantastic tour through the forests of the low mountains of this region, then begins the huge flat area of the Puzta with huge agricultural fields. We return to the hotel where we stayed the night before. This stage is 125 km long, but can be varied. Evening free.

On the second day of the tour we touch the Lake Balaton on our raid through the entering the low mountains south to the lake.  We cross the lake with the the short ferry boat with a great view over the huge lake. We stay in a very authentic Hungarian hotel. Evening free.

We leave Lake Balaton and head back to the Old Mill, our cozy hotel, in the early afternoon. We enjoy the evening with music and a typical local menu in the hotel.  Evening free.

The fifth and last day takes us in a round trip into the hilly landscape west to our hotel to the border to Austria. For dinner we will be back in the hotel. Evening free.

After breakfast on the terrace under the arcades of our cozy hotel, we leave Lake Balaton. Good for Hungary.
