About your trip
Tunisia offers spectacular landscapes and showcases the Sahara, one of the most incredible regions in the world. Tunisia is a very tourist-friendly country and is also one of the safest in the region. This tour leads you deep into the Sahara.
One fact not everyone knows is that the original Star Wars was filmed in Tunisia! On this tour we will visit many well-known locations from the film, including the canyon that served as the Dune Sea and the home of Luke Skywalker.
What's included
Motorbike
including fuel.
Board
Breakfast, dinner and water in the service car.
Transfer on arrival
Shuttle from the airport in Touzeur to the hotel in Nefta.
Luggage Transport
Transport of your personal luggage between the stages. Reduced overnight luggage in the desert camps on stage 2 and 3.
Service Car
Mechanic service with spare parts where accessible, in the Sahara a service and rescue Jeep accompanies the tour.
Tour Management
A professional tour manager and experienced tour guides are leading the tour.
Rescue and Medical Aid
We are over the Garmin InReach System with the global GEOS Alliance connected to get first aid. In the Sahara we have a rescue car with an experienced local accompanying the tour.

Lunch and drinks (you take lunch snacks with you, we provide water in the service car).
Damages on the bike
We offer a CDW as extra.
Single rooms
Single rooms are available as extra in all hotels except the desert camps.
Trip Visa and Insurances
Visa, personal insurances and travel cancellation coverage.. The Ride Xpower Rebooking Cover is available on this trip as extra.
Transfer on Deparutre
For your departure from Djerba, you take a taxi at the desired departure time.
Day 1
Arrival in Tozeur (Nefta)
You fly to Tozeur airport, from where we take you to the hotel in nearby Nefta, where we spend the first two nights (approx. 25 km, 30 minutes, included). Welcome by the tour manager, briefing on the tour and collection of the rental bikes. Dinner together at the hotel.
Day 2
Stage 1 Round trip
Round trip in Nefta to get used to the bikes and riding in the desert, return to the same hotel in Nefta. Approx. 180 km. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3
Stage 2 Nefta to Douz
Drive across the large salt lake to the gateway to the Sahara, overnight at a hotel in Douz. Approximately 200 km. Dinner together at the hotel.
Day 4
Stage 3 Riding into the Sahara
We ride deep into the Sahara and spend the night in a desert camp. Approximately 85 km. Traditional Bedouin style dinner at camp.
Day 5
Stage 4 Dune bashing in the Sahara
Riding through the Sahara, over dunes and sand tracks. Overnight in a desert camp. Approx. 100 km. Traditional Bedouin style dinner at camp.
Day 6
Stage 5 Out of the Sahara
Out of the Sahara over the large mountain ridge to Djerba, overnight in a hotel. Approx. 250 km. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 7
Departure from Djerba
Leaving Tunisia. You take a taxi to the airport at your desired time (not included).
