About your trip
Experience the Dakar Rally as a spectator on a 4x4 tour. This tour accompanies the final three stages of the rally and the award ceremony.
On this 5-day trip, you'll meet the racers in the paddock (where accessible), watch the last three stages at the start, the final and spectator points in a 4x4 vehicle on a 4x4 adventure tour.
Definitely a unique adventure to feel the flair of the Dakar at the final and the breathtaking landscape of Saudi Arabia.
Since there are no hotels in the Empty Quarter, you will stay in our self-built desert camps in the dunes. Pure Dakar feeling is guaranteed. We have our own professional cooks with us and provide good bathroom and toilet facilities. Each participant gets their own tent and brings their own sleeping equipment.
The Empty Quarter
The Sea of
Dunes in the empty quarter - the ultimate landscape in Saudi Arabia.
An incredible adventure into the largest uninhabited sand desert in the world. We will take you on an almost extreme adventure in an off-road vehicle with an overnight stay in the endless sand dunes. For three full days we are practically on our own and provide for ourselves completely in desert camps.
What's included
Rental 4x4
Self driven 4x4, including fuel shared between max. 4 persons.
Board
Breakfast and dinner on all days included.
Transfer on arrival
Shuttle from and to the airport of arrival and departure.
Tour Management
A professional tour manager and experienced tour guides are leading the tour.
Rescue and Medical Aid
We are over the Garmin InReach System with the global GEOS Alliance connected to get first aid. In the desert we have a rescue car with an experienced local accompanying the tour.
Paddock Access
Paddock visitor ticket fees (depending on availability by the Dakar)

Board
Lunch snacks and drinks are not included.
Damages on the 4x4
Damages on the rental 4x4 vehicle (we offer a CDW as extra).
Single rooms
Single rooms are available as extra.
Trip Visa and Insurances
Visa, personal insurances and travel cancellation coverage.. The Ride Xpower Rebooking Cover is available as extra on this trip.
Fuel
Fuel is not included if you take part with your own vehicle
Dakar Bivouac
Day tickets to the Dakar Bivouac have to be purchased separetely and can be ordered over Ride Xpower.
Day 1
Arrival
Arrival and airport pickup. Welcome by the tour manager, briefing on the tour.and collection of the rental 4x4. Dinner together and overnight in a hotel.
Day 2
Empty Quarter
Driving with our 4x4 into the Empty Quarter where we catch up the Dakar Rally on their way into the Sea of Dunes (depending on the route of the Dakar). We meet the racers at a spectator point and / or the final of the stage. Overnight in a desert camp and dinner together.
Day 3
Penultimate Stage
We catch up the racers at a spectator point and at the finish of the penultimate stage and meet the teams in the paddock preparing the vehicles for the final stage. Dinner together and overnight in a desert camp.
Day 4
Final Stage
Highlight of the stage is a mass start in the dunes - first time in Dakar.
We watch the start and the finish of the final stage and the rally on a spectator point and attend in the evening the award ceremony of the Dakar Rally. Dinner together and overnight in a desert camp.
Day 5
Departure
Driving out of the Empty Quarter with our 4x4, airport transfer and departure.
